Fiktion in der Fiktion

[Tom Yates, a slightly neglected writer, sits in a nightly bar and starts reading the end of his novel inspired by the Underwoods in purpose of open it up again] „The wheels lifted, and within seconds, Washington fell away, disappering under a blanket of haze and smog. Forehead pressed at the window she imagined this was exactly how it must have looked a thousand years ago, when the sun rose above the clouds and there was nothing but a swamp beneath. From this heigth, with this view she be anywhere. But the important thing is she was anywhere but there. THE END.“

[An anonymous bartender] You want another?

[Tom Yates still staring at „THE END“ considering deeply about the future of this text and the renewed offer to work for the president and his wife again] Yeah.

[His view swings to the keyboard focusing on backspace and then back to „THE END“. He starts deleting, erasing each letter step by step with a single hit]
